Chapter 7
An Unfinished Symphony
In chapter 2, we introduced a road map. It outlined three stages that we also referred to as phases, and we invoked the metaphor of phase change—solid to liquid to gas. If our metaphor had instead been a symphony, we have come to the third, and unfinished, movement. It may prove to be the most harmonious of them all.
It seems fair to ask, why go beyond crafting connections and community? Why not be satisfied with that? We would have said the same if we hadn’t stumbled into phase 3 and started enjoying the benefits. Having done so, we can now say it transformed our business yet again.
