Chapter 12. Best Practices and Sample Configurations
There are many ways to achieve a given result (service level) with Exchange 2007. That is probably the most challenging aspect of Microsoft Exchange. Because the technology gives us more choices every day, we have to make more choices, or at least we have more decision points. Thus far, we have presented to aspects of storage and Microsoft Exchange technologies. In this last chapter, we would like to present several design types that support various users. From the consolidated data centers, as found inside Microsoft or HP, to the distributed offices of a pharmaceutical company, there is a range of solutions that you should consider.
