This is my fifth book for Focal Press. It is not easy to write a book. Yes, I know, writers will tell you that it takes just one word at a time, but it is a lot of words. Creating a book is not something done in a vacuum. You have friends, family, and coworkers who support and help you all the way. The team at Focal Press, David and Carlin, are rock stars. This book is as much their book as mine (really, we should have their names on the front covers).
