Histograms using MINITAB

Different types of histograms can be constructed, depending upon what we are trying to accomplish. A histogram helps us to see several characteristics of the data. From a histogram we can discover:

1.the shape of the distribution, i.e., if the shape is symmetrical or skewed;

2.the variability of the data, i.e., if the data have large or small variation; and

3.the concentration of the data, i.e., which intervals or classes have more values in them.
