Leaderboard Use Case

Leaderboards track student progress throughout the learning experience and can improve learner engagement, leading to increased learning. Gamification (adding game-like elements to learning activities) is an engaging training technique that is increasingly used. Leaderboards display the results of learning activities (e.g., formative assessment) and lead to improved learner engagement (especially for learners with a high achievement motive).
