The four chapters in Part I of the book analyze the cultural and societal challenges of international management through strategic decision-making, whereas those of Part II deal with questions of ethics and societal responsibility in international management and those of Part III with the challenges posed by interculturality.

In Chapter 2, Alya Charfi and Jamil Chaabouni explore how some companies manage to get through troubled periods, such as the Jasmine revolution in Tunisia, whereas others do not and more often than not end up disappearing.
