Introduction

First we Hunt, then we Cook

The term workflow is as relative as it gets, and there are as many approaches to it as there are photographers. There are workflow methods designed for hobbyists vs. professionals, nature photographers vs. studio photographers, stock photographers vs. fine-art photographers, and the list goes on. So, for better or worse, I decided to name this volume Creative Workflow in Lightroom, extending the relative nature of the term workflow. And as hard as it may be to define such relative terms, my hope is that this book clarifies the distinction along the way because the distinction is an important one.
