The Third Dimension
As an artist who works digitally, when I hear the words 3d I think of software. Programs like Maya, SoftImage, and Cinema 4d come to my mind. I think of building objects in 3d space, adding light, texture, and rendering. The right software package can certainly assist in creating amazing works of 3d art; however, those who are accustomed to working in 2d may find the steep learning curve a little daunting.
