OVERVIEW
THE PUBLICATION format of cost-effectiveness analyses differs from that of other types of scientific investigations in subtle ways. In a cost-effectiveness analysis, the basic format is the same as that of other medical studies; however, the methods and results sections are presented in a way that is structurally quite different from most other studies.
