Evan was inspired to learn a complex new skill, and with great excitement, she signed up for a team coaching experience. Early in the coaching process, it was clear that her team members were much better at learning and performing the new skill than she was, but she was so excited about learning that she did not pay attention to the difference in their ability levels.
