The youngest of six, Marianne grew up in a lively household. Conversation often flew across the kitchen table. She learned to jump in when she could to have her voice heard. She had no idea that she carried this habit into situations where it simply wasn’t needed—until a friend gave her some feedback. They were having a conversation when all of sudden, the friend angrily exclaimed, “Stop doing that! You always do that!
