4.1 Introduction

Unless engineering designers and draftsmen are simply sketching or drafting an idea at the brainstorming stage or conceptual stage of the design process, all technical drawings are by nature developed knowing fully well the sizes and magnitudes of their components and the overall size of the finished product.
