3.1 Introduction

So far, the book has covered the most commonly used building blocks and their parameters as well as the basic operating principles for AutoCAD. As with manual drawings, mistakes occur in computer-generated drawings as well and there are instances where users will need to erase mistakes, trim or extend lines, duplicate or copy entities from one position to another and many other changes, as will be covered in this chapter.
