Justyna Zander has acted as a senior technical education evangelist at The MathWorks in Natick, Massachusetts, since October 2012. She has been an assistant professor at Gdańsk University of Technology in Poland since 2011. Prior to this, she founded SIMULATEDWAY that she recently sold. She served as a postdoctoral research scientist at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, from 2009 to 2012. She also served as a project manager at the Fraunhofer Institute for Open Communication Systems in Berlin, Germany, from 2004 to 2010.
