The director’s team consists mainly of the director, the first assistant director (1st AD), second assistant director (2nd AD), second second assistant director (2nd 2nd), DGA trainee, and set production assistants (set PAs) (Figure 6.1). Other crew that work closely with the director include the director’s assistant, choreographer (if needed), dialogue coach (if needed), and storyboard artist.
