Now that we have a common language for what worldbuilding is generally, I’d like to take a look at what aspects of a video game compose worldbuilding explicitly. This section isn’t exhaustive, although I will try to be thorough, because its aim is to begin to peel back the layers of how worldbuilding is surfaced in a video game by looking at how certain job disciplines contribute to worldbuilding that is felt by the player (practical worldbuilding).
