Coaching involves a commitment to continuous personal growth by the coach, and this development can take place in a variety of settings. An accredited coach-training programme is a good starting point to build your skills, even though not all established coaches have any formal coach training. To be an NLP coach, you need to precede the coach training with NLP training until you reach Master Practitioner level.
