Just the words in this chapter title are likely prompting a huge number of interpretations among readers. “Leading” and “learning” conjure up a wide variety of images and meanings. When the word “for” is added then new territory opens up in relation to the implied purposes and practices of the phrase. A brief scan of the literature will highlight this diversity of perspectives.
