Brighton: This this plan shows a transept through Brighton from The Lanes (1) that form its medieval core to the grand terraces of its Regency expansion (2) and the later, more workaday, Victorian terraced which are confusingly known as The Laines (3). The New England Quarter site is at the top of the plan (4).
