Spencerian Script

Spencerian is a delicate script that I find to be romantic and airy. I love the wispy hairlines and the subtle but dramatic shades of the capital letters. When I look at Spencerian letters, they look like they are dancing on paper.

Unlike Copperplate script, Spencerian is more of an angular script, written with fewer pen lifts and more fluid, rapid strokes. One way to distinguish between the scripts is by looking at the lowercase letters. Spencerian lowercase letters are delicately written with barely any shades.
