In this chapter I’ll examine footage shot with the Blackmagic Cinema Camera compared to the footage of a camera costing thousands more, the Canon C100.1 In addition, I’ll take a look at what raw video looks like in the Canon 5D Mark III (using the Magic Lantern raw module) as compared to its native H.264 compression (8-bit vs. 14-bit raw).
