There’s an entire host of people I need to acknowledge in writing this book. First off Dennis McGonagle, my publisher at Focal Press, who not only hosted a dinner for me at NAB, but pushed me to make the book better than the original pitch. I also want to thank my original editor on this project, Lauren Mattos, who got really excited about the idea and shepherded it through the proposal stage, and Emily McCloskey, who took over from Lauren, and has helped with the overall vision of the book. In addition, my current editor, Peter Linsley, has been instrumental in helping finalize the book into the production phase.
