INTRODUCTION

This chapter will focus on costume design renderings mixed with digital media. I have been incorporating digital artistry into my work in practical ways. I would like to share my experiences using Photoshop paint tools to render costume design sketches. Most people know how to use the basic paint tools and functions. I would like to share some painting tools that are especially useful for costume designers such as brush choices, creating brushes, creating patterns, scanning fabric swatches, wrapping fabric over figures, and creating backgrounds.
