The Philadelphia A’s in the first half of the 20th century put two separate dynasties on the field. The first occurred from 1910 to 1914 during which they won four pennants and three World Series. The second took place from 1929 to 1931 during which the A’s won three pennants and two World Series. These teams were both managed by one of the greatest managers of all-time, Connie Mack.
