Using the Enterprise Architecture

In Chapter 5, we described three types of conceptual models that are informally used to describe the enterprise in the commercial world. Here’s a review:

Business model   Answers the question, “In what ways do we plan to make money or achieve the reasons why our enterprise is in existence?” This model relates to expected revenues, outputs, outcomes, or desired effects from the enterprise in terms of provided goods, services, and value propositions to the target markets and customers.
