Chapter 25. IPv6 Access Control Lists
IP version 6 (IPv6) access control lists (ACL) provide a way for the network and security administrator to control the flow of IPv6 connections traversing the network. IPv6 ACLs provide a way to secure inbound and outbound connections as a part to the overall corporate security strategy and policy. Thus, IPv6 ACLs are a component of a layered security model that provides diversity of defensive techniques and defense in depth of complementary security approaches.
