ACE Module
The Cisco Application Control Engine (ACE) module is a high-performance application switch that can be installed in a Cisco Catalyst 6500 Series switch or a Cisco 7600 Series router. The Catalyst 6500 Series switches are deployed at the aggregation layer of the data center, or as services layer switches to provide integrated load-balancing functionality within the data center.
