About the Artist
Sherm Cohen grew up in Los Angeles, California, where he spent his childhood drawing cartoons in the margins of his schoolwork. After studying cartooning at the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art in Dover, New Jersey, Sherm drew cartoons and other illustrations for Los Angeles Pierce College’s weekly newspaper and for many national and local magazines. These experiences helped Sherm get his first job in the animation industry as a character layout artist on The Ren & Stimpy Show™.
