  1. 1. Focal Plane Mark: Used to measure the exact distance to the focal plane.

  2. 2. Speaker: Used to play sound.

  3. 3. Hot Shoe: Used to mount an external flash or other accessory.

  4. 4. Mode Dial: Turn to set the shooting mode.

  5. 5. Mode Dial Lock-Release Button: Press and hold to unlock the Mode dial.

  6. 6. Shutter Release: Press halfway down to lock exposure and auto focus, and all the way down to take the photo.

  7. 7. Main Dial: Used to select or change settings on the camera.

  8. 8. Flash Button: Press this button and rotate the main dial to change flash mode.
