Chris and Tony were in the waiting area of the Terra Nelore Brazilian steakhouse at 10 minutes before seven o’clock. Shortly afterward Bill Johnson, Diana Fullmer and Ron Corbin arrived. The group was seated, ordered, and were served drinks and appetizers.
Bill said, “Chris, the reason I asked to have dinner with you tonight is so we could get a better understanding of how a company like Defender Products would integrate the C-O-S-T approach. It appears C-O-S-T can engage all aspects of a business and succeeding in introducing change of this scale is not easy. Also, if it is appropriate, we would appreciate hearing about experiences other companies have had implementing C-O-S-T.”
