Sometimes a full-client application isn’t always the most convenient way of going about things; fortunately, BusinessObjects lets you handle most everything Desktop Intelligence does using Web Intelligence (WebI). WebI lets you perform query and reporting tasks using a browser-based interface. This is perfect if you’re a road warrior who travels with a laptop that might not be powerful enough to fully run BusinessObjects locally. Simply connect to your Virtual Private Network and fire up your Web browser. Before you know it you’ll be admiring Kansas City’s Q3 results.

Chapter 12 shows you how to work with InfoView and make it your own by customizing it. You also discover how to perform queries and create reports (Chapter 13).
