Your Authentic Identity Requires Other People

From the last biblical business secret, you can see that other people need what we have to offer so that they may build up their own characters. The thoughtful person will of course realize that, by extension, we too need other people in our lives so that we may build up our own characters into an authentic identity. People require these connections. All things in the universe do. Think back to earlier when we discussed the 92 naturally occurring elements of the periodic table of elements used by scientists everywhere. Recall that all useful things in nature are a combination of these basic elements; everything we benefit from is made of these few elements. The air we breathe is made up of nitrogen and oxygen. The water we drink is made of two parts hydrogen to one part oxygen.

As an aside, it is worth pointing out that in the first 34 verses of Genesis, God creates all of these 92 elements. Now, how many Hebrew words do you think are used in Scripture to describe the creation? Would you be shocked if I told you there are precisely 92 Hebrew words? Many of them, of course, are used more than once, but in terms of how many discrete elements are used to recount the story of creation, which involved actually making 92 elements, there are only 92 words.
