About This Chapter
Chapter 2 begins our exploration of the business model by describing how entrepreneurs should define their process chains. Any successful organization should be able to state, clearly and concisely, how they engage competent employees to perform their tasks well, thereby enhancing sales revenue and thus increasing operating profits and cash flows.
At this initial stage of the business planning process, our material is completely conceptual in nature. Nevertheless, this conceptual information serves as the foundation for the sizable amounts of quantitative detail that follow throughout the business plan.
