This chapter presents examples of how CSR practitioners view the paradigm of peace in the natural resources environment. After establishing how peace could be conceived by CSR practitioners, the chapter presents examples of social and environmental outcomes within a peace-focused framework applied to natural resources industries at various stages of a project lifecycle. A practical framework is explained whereby the reader can analyse his or her own operations’ activity similarly. Suggestions of how to encourage practice at all levels of an operation are woven throughout.
