Now that you have a foundational understanding of the different aspects of a cybersecurity career, you need to have a good plan that will lead you to achieve your desired goal.

One of the most common mistakes I’ve seen with many professionals who were migrating from other fields (such as IT) to cybersecurity is trying to absorb everything at once instead of following a well-thought-out plan that will not only lead to the accomplishment of their final goal but also enable them to have multiple “check-ins” to track progress over time.
