8. More MINDSTORMS Programming: The Line-Following Robot
In Chapter 7, “Make Your First EV3 Program,” you programmed a modified Educator bot to stop on a black line using the color sensor. In this chapter, you’ll continue using the same basic robot with the color sensor to delve a little deeper into more things you can do with your EV3, such as change the screen display on the EV3 and make sounds using the built-in EV3 speakers. To that end, this chapter covers some more advanced programming concepts that you can use with your EV3, such as variables.
Tip
The information you learn in this chapter can also be generalized beyond LEGO and used for many different kinds of programming.
