IN THIS CHAPTER
The ability to easily write custom components in Delphi 6 is a chief productivity advantage that you wield over other programmers. In most other environments, folks are stuck using the standard controls available through Windows or else have to use an entirely different set of complex controls that were developed by somebody else. Being able to incorporate your custom components into your Delphi applications means that you have complete control over the application's user interface.
