Lou is drawing furiously at a desk. Bennet walks in, examining Lou and looking around.

BENNET

Looks like you’ve been busy.

Lou doesn’t look up from drawing.

LOU

Hey, Bennet.

BENNET

Nobody’s seen you in a while.

LOU

I get out. I have to eat.

BENNET

Yeah, but what I’m saying is that people are worried about you.

Lou

I’m doing fine.

Bennet

Are you doing fine with anything other than your art?

LOU

What else matters?

BENNET

Yeah, that’s why I’m here. We’re kind of worried you’ve lost perspective.

LOU

So what, is this an art intervention?

BENNET

I don’t know what to call it, but you used to have a life, a whole life with friends and dates and family.

LOU

I will again, but I’m not feeling any of that right now.
