The first chapter of the book took a quick overview of the Blender user interface and some of the options available to manipulate windows and 3D visualization. From this point, we can start to create 3D content by using the 3D capabilities of Blender to create a 3D model and make a real-time render with Eevee.
Here is a list of what you will learn in this chapter:
- How to create 3D models in Blender
- Change the work mode to Edit
- Manage components from a polygon, such as vertices, edges, and faces
- Use extrusions to make models from 3D primitives
- Render a scene using Eevee and view real-time shadows
