Turning on and using 3D Print Toolbox

Blender also has a 3D Print Toolbox add-on that can help identify non-manifold and other 3D printing issues. It is not a necessity but can be helpful. You can turn it on simply by checking a box in Blender. The steps are:

  1. In the File menu at the top of the screen, click User Preferences:

  1. Click the Add-ons tab at the top. Under Categories, pick Mesh:
