St Luke’s was one of the early schools designed by Architype and has become recognised as an example of how good school design can improve teaching and learning and create safe, nurturing and well-loved environments for children. It was also the first Architype school to be evaluated through a structured research programme – the findings of which influenced later schools projects by the practice.
