Crawley Library is a new civic building that is well liked by its occupants and has a good internal environment (air quality and daylighting factors). Although energy use exceeded the ambitious targets (Energy Performance Certificate/EPC rating ‘A’) in the first Display Energy Certificate/DEC (rating ‘D’), the building still outperforms best practice.
