Chapter 13. Loose Ends
This chapter contains material that didn't make it into any of the previous chapters. Subjects like transactions, AppleEvents, and the do shell script command are more advanced topics that I chose not to cover earlier. Subjects like using the clipboard, using Script Editor's record mode, and Folder Actions fall into the miscellaneous category and don't quite fit in anywhere else.
The topics discussed here are not presented in any particular order, so feel free to skip around and read the sections that pique your interest. Because of the nature of the subject matter, as well as the scope and size of this book, I provide just an introduction to each topic.
