The First Meetings
That night after dinner, I sat down at my computer and googled Julie. Who was she? I’m not sure whether I was more scared or more impressed.
She’d been educated at a really great university with a co-op program, where people alternated terms of school and work. As a result, she got her degree and two years of work experience at the same time. And had she ever worked for some amazing companies! A term with Toyota in their Toyota city complex in Japan. Two terms with a well-known technology company that is involved in space programs where she was doing testing. A term at a big US research lab. And a term with a startup company integrating robotics with prosthetic arms.
