Managing the Transformation

The portrait of the transformational tasks the new managers confronted during the year is complete. Because they have been permitted to paint their own picture, we have come to appreciate the challenges they faced principally from their point of view. We now have a more textured understanding of what makes the promotion to management so difficult and why some with exceptional records as producers often fail to make the transition.
