Preface to the Second Edition
We have been gratified by the popularity of the first edition of Bayesian Networks with Examples in R, which has been well beyond our expectations. Following the publication of the first edition, the book has been translated to French by Jean-Baptiste, and a Japanese translation by Kyoritsu Shuppan is in the works (possibly due in 2021). It has been cited more than 250 times according to Google Scholar, and many readers got in touch with us over the years while using it as a reference in their own work.
