Determine each of the following as being either true or false. If it is false, explain why.

The solution of the equation $x^{2} - 2 x = 0$ is $x = 2.$
The first steps in solving the equation $2 x^{2} + 4 x - 7 = 0$ by completing the square is to divide 4 by 2, square the result, which is then added to each side of the equation.
The quadratic formula is $x = \frac{- b \pm \sqrt{b^{2} - 4 a c}}{2 a} .$
