This is the book I wanted when I first started work in audio. It is written for hands-on technicians, and also for other interested people who just want to acquire the basics of audio and electrical principles without completing a college course. It’s light on formulae and calculation, but intends to bridge the gap between practice and theory, and includes a range of relevant facts and events. The few essential formulae presented can be worked with a pocket calculator, yet they are the foundation of all electrical, electronic, and acoustic work.
