8 Starting a New Project and Bringing in Your Media
So far, we’ve learned a lot about working in Avid Media Composer—but it has always been by using media that has already been input into Avid. Now that you hopefully have the confidence about working in this editing environment, we’re going to drop back to the very first stage in the editing process, and discuss how to actually bring media into a new or existing project. Specifically, we’ll touch upon how to import files, how to access files via Linking media – what used to be call the AMA workflow.
