Importance of Trim Mode in Your Editing Workflow

Now that you have Trim Mode at your disposal, the way you edit changes significantly. If you have a shot in the Timeline that is too short or too long, it’s easy to trim it to just the right length. Trimming enables you to make every edit just the way you want.

So, as you go through your sequence, try to think of the trimming process as a transition-by-transition problem-solving mission. Every single transition should be analyzed to determine whether the A-side or B-side (or both) need shortening or lengthening.
